Night class for today we have learnt about NOUNS AND ARTICLE. This is a group presentation. The member that have to present are RAHE, FARHANI, SALINA, and HEFA.
Type of nouns

Miss Zu also asked about possessive nouns. Possessive nouns are to show something that belongs to someone.

Refer to something in general or specific.
ARTICLES
A,an-indefinite, used before singular countable nouns
EXAMPLE
A hammer, an orange, a university, an hour
The-definite,used before both singular and plural nouns, and before both countable and uncountable nouns
.EXAMPLE
The star, the trees, the third, in the year
We choose a or an because of pronounciation, not spelling
Eg : an hour ( h is silent, so hour is like our )
a university ( pronounced ‘ you-niversity’ )
a one-pound stamp ( pronounced ‘ wun……’)
a European ( pronounced ‘ you-ropean’)
